Neoclassical Residence in Greece

Monday, March 26

This former residence, originally built for the French Councilor can be found in Athens district of Piraeu.
It was completely renovated, all interior walls were removed and replaced by sliding doors and walls,  some of the original elements were preserved, like the beautiful wooden staircase leading trough the whole house.
Place is furnished mostly with classical mid century modern furniture which just suits great here.

Design Lover's Danish Home

Friday, March 23

Owners of this nice & stylish home have a great passion for classic mid century pieces and like to combine them with modern conteporary design, this is nicely reflected throughout their home where you can find many of the great scandinavian design icons and  iconic eames stuff.

Pops of colours are working very well here - the filled bookshelf is really eycaching  and the set of Krenit bowls on the table just reminded me I need to buy  some of them on my next trip to Denmark!

Scandinavian 1910 House with a Classical Charm

Wednesday, March 21

Another great example of nicely renovated old house which retained its historical feel yet  is fresh and clean.
I  Really like the kitchen (it is IKEA  and I still think their kitchens are great for the money) and bathroom - something I like to do in my flat - simple B&W tiles, retro bath...  nice.
Interior is beautifuly bright and feels very clean plus the vintage furniture giving it nice rustic touch warming the place a bit.

Sunday, March 11

This really nice 165 m² mapartment norht of Copenhagen have a great clean look and it is just right mixture of classic scandinavian style flavored with bit of New Yorker loft style.

There are lot of things to like about this place, furniture, decor, art, everything is well chosen and works great here, even with limited color scheme the place is cozy and I would not affraid to say warm, another wonderful inspiration for me.

Scandinavian Apartment Filled with Design Classics

Wednesday, March 7

Something I like most - scandinavian and mid century modern design combined. This "only" 90 square meters large apartment contains really cool selection of  classic 50s & 60s furniture, Eames, Panton, Jacobsen, Strining...just perfect!

The space itself is nice on its own with those large wide double doors  and beautiful wooden floor.  If you remember how I was saying that some of the scandinavian interiors are too "bright" even for me and that I would add some pops of colours into them - this one have it all - I love how the various yellows, oranges and blues warming the place up, this is definitely close to my idea of how I will design my new flat.
