When I saw the first photo I have instantly fell in love with the apartment of Monica Holmvik Persdotter's  family.

The living room design is simply amazing: Large Persian rug, stylish gray sofa, vertigo pendant light and gorgeous art pieces.

I could say same about the kitchen as well  - it looks fabulous with the bluish-gray painted cabinets,  marble backsplash and set of Wishbone Chairs. On the other side, there is a huge library and large double doors painted in blue, which is a very nice touch.

Great place to be for sure, artful, well decorated and cozy!

When I think about the Scandinavian interior, usually a bright, mostly white place comes into my ming. But the house of Mette Holbæk is different, she used dark colors all over the place and the result is really breathtaking.


There is something mysterious and charming about such a dark apartment. I love how the colors are matched together in each room. Especially in the kitchen, the combination fascinates me.


Although the interior may look a bit dark and dramatic to someone, it is decorated with an amazing attention to detail and I am getting just positive vibes from it. 

You can find here many great design pieces, starting with a lovely colorful Persian rug,  Chairs from Gubi or light from Louis Poulsen. Of course, there is also a nice selection of photography and wall art in every room!

For me, this is one of the most striking interiors I have seen in a while, great, bold design with an amazing atmosphere and unique look. Bravo.

I really like the fusion of two very nice styles here,  you can find some amazing designs from the mid-century modern era and also current bohemian decor elements.

You can find here a vast range of extraordinary design pieces (like Noguchi coffee table and George Nelson's Bubble lamp) and some really beautiful pattern rugs.

My favorite place is probably the bedroom with a collection of lovely textiles and black/gold lamps.

White on the walls, floor, and ceiling, white everywhere. This amazing, clean and serene apartment do not care for colors. It has a simple yet effective palette.

It is really awesome how the wooden furniture pops out from the white background, especially the Arne Jacobsen's Ant chairs in the dining room, where you can also spot an awesome sputnik ceiling light.

There is not almost any decor except the houseplants and few art pieces. Everything is kept simple and clean.

What a gem. Welcome to the home of Creative director Martin and his wife My. Located inside of an old 1888 building, it has a ton of charm and personality.

With a size of 156 square meters, there is indeed a lot of space to make your dreams come true, and the owners chose a very nice way to decorate this interior.

In the living room, which is quite minimalist, you can find a very nice sofa from Eero Koivisto and chairs by Barrey & Moltzer. The ceiling lamp is from Ay Illuminate. The only real decor piece here is a couple of photographs behind the couch.  There is also a fun piece there - vintage table football.  On the second living room  photo you can also spot a JWDA Concrete Table Lamp by Menu, my lamp of choice for a next lamp buying madness :)

I simply love the dining room with a couple of classic chairs and my favorite Poul Henningsen's lamp - the snowball. There is a large metal shelf which adds bit of almost industrial feel

The bright and calm dining room is counterbalanced by the dark and elegant kitchen. Black is the ruling color there and with a black painted walls, it has a very distinctive look. I like how the white floor complements the look.
