The owners Heidi Hofmann and Claus Robenhagen say that they only buy pieces of furniture that can tell a story. They buy the whole variety of furniture, from antiques from Venice, a marble table from 1958 to brand new art by Jeppe Hein - that is what makes their home so special.

The flat is full of bright although carefully selected colors and geometric shapes, which the owner really appreciates. As she is a graphic designer, the sense of symmetry and balance provide relaxation.

This amazing, bright and colorful interior in Sparrowbush, NY is a candy for the eye.“It’s important to live with colour,” says the owner Bradford Shellhammer, who founded the internet store Fab. He definitely manged to balance the pricey design staples such as the Panton Heart chair with inexpensive pieces from Ikea and his own store and fantastic vintage pieces, such as the radio from West Germany.
