After spending some time in Norway, food and prop stylist Tara Ballantyne decorated her house in a nordic chic style for this  Christmas holidays. I really like the result which has beautiful Scandinavian feeling and looking fabulous.

Home of Josephine Ekström is a truly marvelous place. Unusual combination of mid century modern designs with ethnic pieces used together in a pure white interior makes an amazing visual appearance supported by the architecture of the house itself.

Living room with the nice set of Bertoia diamond chairs, dining room with vintage Eames chairs and vintage industrial lamp, beautiful wooden beams, rustic furniture...there is really so much awesomeness here that it is hard to choose a favorite spot. I really love the atmosphere here. Calm, spacious with a clean decor.

Julia from the blog myhomeismyhorst sent me some nice photos of her colorful, happy home. It is a wild but extremely positive and cheerful combinations of colors and patterns enhanced with a nice retro, mid century elements. Nice change from the minimalist use of colors in the interiors I posted in the last time.

Impressive work here. It was done by studio distilat and their take on this classic 130 m2 apartment in a classic Viennese old building ended up great. It retained its historical feel, with the high ceilings, rich stucco and  historic tiles and was updated with the modern, minimalist  furniture and decor. I really love the openness of the place and the clean, bright look.

Welcome in the house of  John and Julie, founders of online shop Mjölk. It is located in Toronto and it serves as their home as well as show room gallery. On the first sight you notice not only Scandinavian design but also Japanese aesthetics and this two styles fit together quite well, you can feel the calm, natural and meditative atmosphere here.

Home of Christina Kattrup Schroeder is ready for Christmas. Her 750 square meters large farm house has a beautiful charm with its exposed beams, nice mixture of vintage and modern design and all the holiday decor which fits here perfectly. Extra large dining table must be great for festive dining and the super large sofa in the living room seems really comfy.

I really like the way how this small apartment was decorated, it again uses the gray and black combo with the natural wood tones and it is indeed a well working combination.  Black floor is a nice touch you do not find very often, but thanks to a large windows it is  not a problem here. All the place is very consistent and clean in styling with a nice mix of retro and modern designs.
