Rikke works as a designer at House Doctor, which she owns with her ​​sister and younger brother. The home works as a kind of showroom for the products made by this company, but is also enriched with other various design pieces - as for example classic mid century modern chairs by Eames or Panton.

I love the positive atmosphere here which is created by the clever use of pops of  bold colors in the otherwise white interior.

Wow, you don't see apartment like this very often.  Located in New York's Upper West Side,  Initially constructed as an oversize, luxury artist's loft in early 1900s this place is magnificent.  Look at the source for the full info - it is worth checking. This mid century modern home in Melbourne is a project by interior designers, Hecker Guthrie. There has been a lot of work done, when some walls were taken down, to make a place more opened. I think that result is great, this minimalist place, where mostly wood tones prevail is also spiced up with nice pastel tones of mid century modern furniture pieces which adds warmth and  cozy mood to it.
