Splendid architectural house outside Tokyo

Thursday, September 14

Situated in the middle of a suburb of Tokyo lays a house by the Japanese architect Keiji Ashizawa Surrounded by the trees and vegetation, the home stands as a great example of how to connect nature with city living.

His latest house is a wonderful example of the modern living in a harmony with traditions.  Around the house, you will notice a rich use of wood, which is a dominant material along with metal. This creates a nice balance and gave the house a bit of a loft look.

The house is furnished with a nice mix of vintage and contemporary pieces.  In the main hall,  you can find a pair of Barcelona chairs, vintage Japanese cabinet, tripod studio light lamp and the amazing Bang & Olufsen Beoplay Speaker.

From the architectural standpoint, I really love the look of the interior, with its high ceiling which enhances the spacious feel of the house and the glass panel wall,  heading to the garden.

Living in such house must be a joy!
