Olnick Spanu House by Alberto Campo Baeza
Wednesday, May 11
I´m a big fan of the houses with huge glass walls where you can enjoy the surrounding nature from inside, so this house designed by Spanish architect Alberto Campo Baeza immediately catched my attention!
House is 122 feet long by 54 feet wide by 12 feet high, walls are made from concrete, roof is flat, paved in stone.
Interior is very minimalistic, full of interesting midcentury modern furniture furniture, well you don´t need much of decorations when you have such a great view...

Where the Colors Are
Monday, May 9
Lets start the week with something happy, what about this nice home of Danish home accessories designer Charlotte Gueniau?
For a scandinavian interior it is very colorful, as opossite to classical black / brown / white scheme, maybe her living in Paris for some time influenced the overal look (classical wooden flooring, high ceilings with ornaments - reminds me those great old french flats) but the colors are choosed very nicely, so they make a great atmosphere.

The Rock House
Friday, May 6

House on the images above was designed as a weekend getaway for Seattle resident Merrill Wright by Tom Kundig, of the local firm Olson Kundig Architects and can be found at San Juan Islands, Washington.
In the house there is everything you may need - large kitchen, living and dining room, bedroom as well as a two small guest rooms. What is absolutely amazing is large terrace with fireplace!
I dig how it looks like it had burst through the rocks, which gives the place nice atmosphere, even made from concrete, it fits the scenery very nicely.
Interior is very stylish, it combine modern with good old vintage pieces like Hans Wegner´s lounge chairs and many more antique furniture.

Fresh Air from Island
Thursday, May 5
I did not saw many interiors from Island before, what a shame - this one is truly fantastic!
Im amazed by the simple, clean styling, and great selection of furniture - big dining table with midcentury chairs, PH5 pendant accompanied by rustical credenza, so sweet, same is the snowy white kitchen!

Lars & Ylva Ehrsson´s Magical Guesthouse

This old beach guesthouse in Nyhamnsläge was built in the 1920s and in 2009 it was renovated by his current owners Lars & Ylva Ehrsson.
Lars is antique dealer and digital illustrator, so this is why there is so much of a great vintage scandinavian design pieces, espiecially china and ceramics (so many Marianne Westman and Stig lindberg here!!!) .
In the best nordic tradition, it is spacy, airy, bright and full of great decorations. What a lovely place!
